wow time flies!!! our 7 month pic :)

we had my 25 week appointment today & the baby doc said that he's measuring big, it was then that i remembered that jon was over 9 lbs! oh boy here we go!

the craziest thing this week! we can now watch our baby boy rock n roll in my belly! that's right folks no need to touch the belly anymore, anyone can just pull up a chair & watch his first concert live ;) hard to believe i'm over 24 weeks now, 6 months have flown by & we're getting closer on the naming front, so stay tuned! :) the pic below is of me & my friend cris last month we're both are having boys & both due on october 7th! :)

technically this baby boy could come now & have a chance at survival, but let's not pray for that :) it's amazing to think that i'm over half way there! after seeing gretchen's baby girl born on june 1st, i am even more excited to have this baby in my arms :) please continue to pray for this baby & the rest of my pregnancy... i am definitely getting bigger! :)

20 weeks/5 months, already? & we just found out we're having a boy! proud mommy of a precious boy jon on the phone with his dad at mimi's after our appointment "the rohland name lives on!" -papa dale rohland

now we just need to give this baby boy a name :) "the poser" "the singer" "the thinker"

BOY!!! sooo   absolutely thrilled!

so far the poll is way stronger on the boy side, not sure exactly why, but we'll see soon enough! may 28th is our gender ultrasound appointment, only 13 short days left to go & we are SO excited to find out :) jon really isn't leaning either way & i have gone back & forth, but i have to admit all of these boy comments have made an impact on me, so we'll soon see! :) i've had a mom from my mom's day out class ask me to turn to the side & look me up & down, then stand back & pronouce, it's a boy, lol! also there's my sister jennfier who has already made a full child set list for us, she says, a boy, a boy then a girl... i also get comments about my "girl glow" to which i respond... "it's the bronzer" ;) sooo what do you think?

what a joy it has been to be able to share all of our firsts on this blog! thank you for all our your sweet comments! this first has got to be one of the coolest, i've been feeling some little bumps & sooshing rolls, at first i didn't know what to think & passed it off thinking it was digestion... now it's for sure & is SO exciting!!! :) the baby really likes our new comfy couch & movie time, i'm able to lay down & relax, but then the baby hears loud movies like james bond or transformers & gets moving! oh what happy days! :)

18 weeks -- time for some new clothes! :) i have new pants, with a panel if you can believe it! wow it's like i'm pregnant or something ;)

my first belly pic on 2/4/09 & since my belly hadn't changed yet, i professed my love for baby with some heart hands :)

this is the 3rd ultrasound, but i just had to write again about how amazing this is! this is a side profile picture with the baby facing up & the baby's head is on the right side & you can totally see the 2 arm "buds" & 2 leg "buds" as clear as day! incredible :) my next appointment is april 2nd & i don't think we'll be able to get another pic, but i'll try! i wish i could get one every week :)

1st ultrasound 2/12/09 - 6 weeks 2nd ultrasound 2/19/09 - 7 weeks 3rd ultrasound 3/05/09 - 9 weeks so much more to come...

after many years of praying for God to bless us with a baby, it has finally happened & we are thrilled!!! we have had a peace that can only come from knowing Jesus this whole time... God showed us that babies are a gift & not a promise, so we continued to pray for this gift... our precious gift has a due date now & ultrasounds & a strong heart beat, amazing! come cheer with us as you follow our journey & a growing baby belly, to the finish line of october 7th...
